Welcome to our website! St John the Evangelist, Hurst is part of the Church of England in the Diocese of Manchester serving the community of Hurst in Ashton-under-Lyne.
We are a welcoming and inclusive church who meet together to worship God and who seek to show God's love and care to others in our local community and in the world through our words and actions.
Church is now open for public worship from Sunday 12th July each Sunday at 10am. Our Covid Risk Assesment is here
As we are currently in interregnum, we sadly cannot offer weekday services.
If you would like to join us in prayer you can access the prayer booklets on the Prayer resources for worship at home page.
